Fabrics

Klevers Aryana, as the exclusive representative of Klevers Germany, has access to over a hundred fabric models for its designs. The characteristics of insulating pad fabrics must vary depending on whether they are used on a hot equipment surface or exposed to the outdoor environment.

In general, Klevers Aryana’s fabrics are made from fiberglass, silica, and ceramic fibers. Each of these fabrics has its own unique properties.

Base fabrics made from these fibers can be subjected to various treatments and reinforced in terms of certain properties. For example, to protect the insulation system from environmental conditions such as rain, sunlight, acidic pollutants, etc., fiberglass fabrics are coated with materials such as silicone and polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon). On the other hand, to increase the heat resistance and strength of fireproof fabrics, their fibers are intertwined with stainless steel wires.

Coated Fabrics

For temperatures up to 260 degrees Celsius
  • Fiberglass fabric coated with a layer of silicone, polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), or vermiculite to increase resistance to corrosive materials, water, oil, etc
  • Thickness range: 0.4 to 1.1 mm
  • Weight range: 500 to 1500 g/m²
  • Water-resistant and non-corrosive under insulation
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Very high tensile and shear strength

Glass Fiber Fabrics

For temperatures up to 600/800 degrees Celsius
  • Made from fiberglass fibers
  • Wide thickness range: 0.46 to 3 mm
  • Weight range: 600 to 1500 g/m²
  • Very high tensile and shear strength
  • Fiber reinforcement capability for temperature resistance up to 800°C
  • Ability to intertwine fabric fibers with stainless steel wires to increase heat resistance up to 700°C and tensile strength
  • Low thermal conductivity

Silica Fiber Fabrics

For temperatures up to 1000 degrees Celsius
  • Made from silica fibers (higher SiO₂ content)
  • Available in thickness of approximately 0.5 mm
  • Available in weight range of 300 to 600 g/m²
  • Low thermal conductivity

Ceramic Fiber Fabrics

For temperatures up to 1260/1430 degrees Celsius
  • Made from ceramic fibers
  • Available in thicknesses of 1.5 to 4 mm
  • Available in weight of approximately 1500 g/m²
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Ability to intertwine fabric fibers with stainless steel wires to increase heat resistance and tensile strength
