Fabrics

As the exclusive representative of Klevers Germany, Klevers Aryana has the possibility of using more than one hundred fabric models for its designs. Fabrics of insulation pillows, depending on whether they are on the surface of the hot equipment or exposed to the outside environment, should have different characteristics.

In general, the fabrics of Klevers Aryana company are made from glass, silica and ceramic fibers. Each of these fabrics has its own unique properties.

Basic fabrics made of the mentioned fibers can be subjected to various measures and strengthened in terms of some properties. For example, in order to protect the insulation system against environmental conditions such as rain, sunlight, acid pollutants, etc., glass fiber fabrics are covered with materials such as silicone and polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon). On the other hand, in order to increase the thermal tolerance and strength of fireproof fabrics, their fibers are interwoven with stainless steel wires.

Coated Fabrics

Temperature tolerance up to 260 degrees Celsius

  • Fiberglass fabrics coated with silicone layers, polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), or vermiculite to increase resistance to corrosive substances, water, oil, etc.
  • Thickness range from 0.4 to 1.1 mm
  • Weight range from 500 to 1500 grams per square meter
  • Resistant to water penetration and no corrosion under the insulation
  • Low thermal conductivity

Fiberglass Fabrics

Temperature tolerance up to 600/800 degrees Celsius

  • Made of glass fibers
  • Wide range of thickness from 0.46 to 3 mm
  • Weight range from 600 to 1500 grams per square meter
  • Very high tensile and shear strength
  • Ability to strengthen fibers to withstand temperatures up to 800 degrees
  • The ability to interweave fabric fibers with stainless wire strands to increase heat tolerance up to 700 degrees and increase tensile strength.
  • Low thermal conductivity

Silica Fiber Fabrics

Temperature tolerance up to 1000 degrees Celsius

  • Made of silica fibers (higher percentage of SiO2)
  • Available in a thickness of about 0.5 mm
  • Can be offered in 300 to 600 grams per square meter
  • Low thermal conductivity

Ceramic Fiber Fabrics

Temperature tolerance up to 1260/1430 degrees Celsius

  • Made of ceramic fiber
  • Available in thicknesses of 1.5 to 4 mm
  • Can be provided in grammage of about 1500 grams per square meter
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • The ability to interweave fabric fibers with stainless wire strands to increase thermal tolerance and increase tensile strength
